That makes me wonder why China is investing so much into renewable energy. It's not going to give them anything politically. They certainly don't care about the environment. They are smarter than us dumb Americans to realize that a) they will need more energy in the future than they can get using oil b) the oil will eventually run out and renewables will be the only source of energy left.
